Complaints

Ordinarily, complaints of a minor nature may be made to a member of staff who will ensure the complaint is brought to the appropriate person. More serious complaints should be made to the office where they will be recorded and notified to the Head teacher. Parents dissatisfied with the school's delivery of the National Curriculum or any other aspect of the school should in the first instance contact the Head teacher. There is a recognised procedure for parents wishing to lodge a formal complaint in respect of the school curriculum and related matters. However, we would encourage parents to share concerns with us initially and are keen to offer the opportunity to discuss any school issues openly prior to seeking formal proceedings. Should the head teacher not satisfactorily address the complaint, then the next step in the school’s complaints procedure is to write to the Chair of the School Governing Body. Should the complaint still not be resolved then the complaint should be submitted to the Director of Education, Education Department of Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, Guildhall II, Kingston, KT1 1EU.
